TO REGISTER FOR THE TACTICAL DEFENSE CAMP.
Spartan Hockey will be providing multiple opportunities throughout the year for Defensemen to develop key skills that are required for players to be successful in this position. New NHL and community rules require today’s D-Men to have strong skill sets on both sides of the puck (offensively & defensively). This camp develops players basic skill sets and advances elite players abilities to the next level to allow them to flourish during their winter and spring seasons.
This program is available to players born:
- NOVICE, ATOM, PEEWEE, BANTAM.
- The program includes: 4 days at 1.25 hour on ice sessions per day
- Total ice 5 hours on ice instruction
- Defensive Positioning
- Backwards Skating
- 1 on 1 Development
- Defensive Zone Awareness
- Footwork and Agility Development
- Making a Good First Pass
- Partner Communication
- Usage Proper Offensive Blue Line “Pinching” Techniques

- Taking Away Space Containment
- Skill Development using your Net

We only accept 17-20 D-Men in each group and positions WILL fill up fast.
